How to use this stop
This is an independent addition, not an attempt to redraw the official trail. It belongs here because a road trip is more useful when it can acknowledge excellent night-sky places just outside the certification map.
Verify before driving at night
- Legal parking and nighttime access.
- Weather, road and seasonal closures.
- Private-property boundaries.
- Local fire, wildlife and land-management restrictions.
- Whether a current public program actually exists before promising one to your group.
